My son registered for outdoor action the week before school starts. There are sessions for 1831, one that is right before OA. Does it make sense to do both?
You can if you want. These are great Ice-Breakers and opportunities to make new friends.
My DS only did one (OA), but there were some that did both. They are different, with different students attending, so it will be a different experience for each.
My daughter attended AA and Camp 1831. She enjoyed both. 
Both are good, different programming in each. Son still keeps in touch with students he met in each one.
