As I understand, a 32 translates to roughly a 2100. Should I submit both scores or just the ACT?

http://www.act.org/aap/concordance/estimate.html

Just submit the ACT.

No. Why on Earth would you want to submit that SAT score when you have a 32 ACT?

Submit the ACT. It will certainly look better on your application.

Does the SAT score make me look bad if I submit it? If it makes a difference, all of my schools are in southern California, and most of the ones I want to seriously attend are private.
I suppose part of my hesitation is because I hate to feel like I spent money on the SAT when in the end it doesn’t matter at all, but if it is that strongly recommended to not report it on my application, then I won’t.

The SAT score may hurt your chances. Is it really worth making sure the money you’ve already spent (a sunk cost) isn’t wasted? Sorry to be so judgmental, but that would be a very poor decision.

Not judgmental at all. Extremely helpful and honest, thank you.

If you aren’t applying to Ivies or any school that requires your entire testing history just report the ACT.
