<p>I understand the decisions come this week for most people who have not heard back yet (I do have the coming days status) but I was just curious as to whether or not UP considers you for your 2nd choice major at UP even if you get denied your 1st choice. In my case I put, ignorantly, engineering as my 1st choice and the universal studies ( or whatever the undecided college is called) as my 2nd choice. </p>
<p>I am concerned because I just got deffered from nc state today with above average stats for that university, so it was a shock. I was especially shocked given my cousin was accepted with 1600ish sat scores to the business school. This has me to believe that I was deffered simply because I put engineering as my first choice there too. </p>
<p>Can someone please tell me whether or not PSU looks at both major choices In the one review they do for UP?</p>
