1st Quarter Courseload for Public Health Sci Major

Hi,
I'm currently a public health sci major signed up for humcore, bio 93 and chem 1a (totaling 16 units. Is this too much to handle 1st quarter or just the right amount?
I want to start off on a good foot and humcore seems worth it but I'm not quite sure. Any help/ suggestions would be great.

What are your alternatives? How far are you in math?

Writing 39b is full right now, but you can get waitlisted and probably get in at least one of them. But otherwise, looks fine I guess.

I was originally signed up for writing 39b but after talking to a few third years, I decided to drop writing 39b for humcore…thinking it’d be more worth while. -__- I’m just a little apprehensive about balancing everything my first quarter.

Its ok, hum core is intense but if you stick with it you will get a lot of GEs out of the way. I came in last year as a PHS major with Chem, Writing and Bio. Check out Public Health Association during welcome week! pha.zotters.org

thanks guys. i think i will stick with it. :)
