are we going to have to submit our first quarter grades to Cornell for ED or just the mid year report after the decisions are made?

During last year ED this was a much discussed question. If I remember correctly, Cornell asked some students to submit first quarter grades, but it does not tell students to submit the grades. However, Cornell did not contact me, but my counselor later told me that they contacted her requesting first quarter grades. So, you don't have to send first quarter grades, unless Cornell contacts you and asks you to send them, but I bet a majority of people don't get asked for them.

i sen't my first quarter grades even though they weren't requested, because I wanted to show Cornell I was working hard and doing well with my difficult courseload.

spart: do you think that helped you get in?

for me, def, they were way better than my GPA for the rest of HS. If it will make you look better, do it.
