1st quarter grades

I got my report card on Friday and want to send my grades to Princeton. my Dean said I have to give her an envelope already addressed and she will send my grades in that envelope. does anyone kno to whom i should address the envelope? is it the same address that i used to send my application? because I am afraid if I write Application for Admission, whoever receives it will think it is an RD application. please help! thanx.

write on the envelope for early decision consideration, and write a letter adressed to the admissions ppl saying that these are your Q1 grades that you are updating your app with.

thanx. (10 char)

just wondering, what the heck is "10 char"?

lol it's a space filler people put when their posts aren't 10 char long.
Because valid posts have to be 10 characters or they won't let you post.

u have to have 10 characters in a response, and mine only had 6 (thanx + period) so i wrote 10 char to fill up the required characters. 10 char is an abb for 10 characters. dont wry I had no clue what that meant when i first saw it.

oh no, i already sent MP1 grades, but didn't mark on the outside that its for ED. what should I do? would that be a problem? should i just send another copy?

6 char

lol, anyone wanna post something helpful now?

I guess you should just email them explaining the situation....Personally, i believe thats the best way to do it... Or better off, call them since you just live a few minutes away.

It isn't necessary that we submit first quarter grades, is it?

Nope, it isn't, but you can if you want to.
If accepted or deferred, Pton will eventually get your 1st semester grades in the mid-year report.

ok i recently called them. they said that it wouldn't really matter, because they open things (ED or RD) as soon as they come in. then they match those things with your name

matty and maddy, where did you hear that we needed to mark "ED" on our envelopes?

if our 1st quarter grades are strong, is it beneficial to send them?

I would just think it would be easier for the admissions people if you did mark ED on your envelope so they know its needed for early consideration -- otherwise. It seems to be a courteous thing to do (not that not marking ED isn't is rude in any way or anything!!!!) you know what i mean
