At what point is one’s acceptance revoked?

if you get a D or F

Or below 3.0.

actually thats not true

So, what is true about first semester Sr. GPA?

yeah, what IS true? id like to know.

cmon people......do they count or no?

just dont slack off to the point where you're getting C's and D's and you'll be fine. dont' worry aboutit.

no, even C's are perfectly fine. They will only revoke your admission if you get a D or F, or I guess if there are special circumstances like getting expelled or something.

I think it counts. If you've been getting B's and C's throughout high school and suddenly get straight A's in senior year, the colleges are going to see that as a "marked improvement."

No, senior year GPA does not benefit in anyway, but it can be used against you. Getting straight A+'s during senior year is not going to change their admission decisions in favor of you.

However, doing poorly will result in the revokal of the admission offer.

Depends on the campus as to requirements for not having the admissions revoked.

I know UCI, you need an above 3.0 and C- in all your classes but does anyone know about the other UCs in terms of senior year policies ? UCR? UCSB? UCDAVIS? Anyone have their senior year provisional contracts?

I think UCB is above a 3.0 average (unweighted) with nothing below a . . . C-?

My friend at UCSC said his was easier.

UC SENIOR YEAR CONTRACTS:

NO D OR F GRADES ABOVE AN (ACADEMIC) 3.0 GPA-
UCB UCB
UCLA UCLA
UCI UCI
UCSB ?
UCSD ?
UCSC ?
UCR ?
DAVIS ?

ANY1 KNOW THE OTHER UC SCHOOLS IN HOW THEY TREAT APPLICANTS SENIOR YEAR?

I KNOW FOR SURE THAT IRVINE REQUIRES A 3.0+ ** AND** NO D/Fs

3.0 + or 3.0 @ irvine

what about the other UC schools

If i have like a 2.8 SENIOR YEAR GPA, what will happen? I am taking many challenging, advanced courses that are hard to get As in and I am getting a lot of B's and C's .....

PHYSICS, CALCULUS, FOREIGN LANG 4TH YEAR, CHEMISTRY 3RD YEAR, ETC

1 A
3 B's
2 C's ?

I wish the above 3.0 GPA rule never exist !

If you have like a 2.8, then you will talk to admissions and they will most likely let you in. Or not. You're at their mercy. Just get above a 3.0, which you are and can.

It's 3.0 UW. He has a 2.8 UW.
