Hi, I'm a straight A student and at the top of my class but made the unfortunate mistake of signing up for too many AP classes this year and now I'm suffering. I just can't keep up. It's too late to switch classes now, and now I find myself slacking and not wanting to do anything. Typical feelings of someone who pushes themselves over the edge...my goal at the beginning of the year was to have straight As for the midyear report, but:

If I have a couple of Bs yet still manage an "A" average for my first semester grades, will this hurt me? I'm also managing a job, a possible internship, along with trying to live a normal senior life, with a load of 6 APs, and colleges will see this. I'm applying to some top 10% selective colleges in the nation.

Thanks for any thoughtful responses. And I'm not trying to be an ass or anything, I'm just one of those people who have been pushed their entire lives to be the best, it's an ingrained mentality.
