1st Semester Senior Year Grades

So I've heard a lot about not slacking off the second semester of your senior year. But our 1st semester just finished, and I have absolutely no clue how my grades are going to turn out. They're really borderline right now, my GPA for the semester could be anywhere between 2.6 and 3.1 and I wouldn't be surprised. My best case scenario is 3 A's, 2 B's, and 2 C's, worst case would be 4 B's and 3 C's.

My worry is that I applied to the University of Washington on December 1, and I haven't gotten a reply back yet. I'm afraid that they will end up seeing these grades before they make a decision, and not accept me. My current GPA is 3.6, and I've never gotten a C before, but with 6 IB classes this semester (basicallly 7 with TOK), it was pretty hard. How bad off am I?

don't worry about it. Colleges know that it may be hard to maintain grades in senior year due to increased activities, college applications, harder classes, and *****y teachers. Plus, it's only one semester's work, not the full year...

Don't worry. I know a lot of people who still haven't gotten into UW and have submitted applications on Dec. 1 (I go to a school in Seattle, so tons of people apply). You'll hear from them soon. If you don't hear from them within a week, though, I would probably call the school.

Actually, I heard that the UW doesn't even need to see your mid-year grades. But they do look at your transcript if you decide to go.

i was able to graduate this year but the school wont let me cause they get money for me next yr it is bs
