I am new here, and I wanted to see what y'all think about my chances of getting into USC. I received a MDY Report and Scholarship Rejection Letter.

GPA: 4.51 Weighted Don't know UW
ACT: 32 (35 M, 35 S, 28 R, 28 W)
Recs were good
EC: Pretty much baseball which I have won numerous awards in(all conference), NHS, nothing else.
Volunteer: Don't know exact hours, but every summer since Freshman Year.

I also am ranked 7th of around 200.
Applied to Marshall.
Did not submit SATs
4 AP Classes prior to this year(5, 5, 4, 3)
2 AP's this year.
AP Scholar with Honor
Semester grades are as follows:
AP Calculus BC: A
AP Comp Sci: A-
Honors Physics: A+
Psychology: A+
English: A

Obviously weaker in humanities and english.

Wait so I know we've already talked about this but I just want to make sure... I just got the no scholarship letter, one letter is better than two letters right? Doesn't the no scholarship letter and midyear request mean more borderline?

Which doesn't quite make sense considering GetItDone has a higher GPA than I do... and got two letters....

you can't really look at individual statistics like gpa, sat score, etc. you have to look at the application as a whole. honestly though, usc has a funny way of doing things and at this point, i have no idea what the letters mean anymore. let's not read into it so much :P
