per the suggestion of the Bio dept., I would limit the first semester to 4 courses and a seminar. They count "lecture+lab= one course", so it comes to 17 credits total. Is that too much for the first semester?

Bio lecture - 4 credits
Bio lab - 1 credit
Chem lecture - 3 credits
Chem lab - 2 credits
Math - 3 credits (if I get a 4 or 5 on the AP Calc BC, then this would be Stats. Otherwise it will be Calc II)
Humanities class - 3 credits
Bio 101 Seminar - 1 credit

Total credits = 17

bio is 4 credits including lab, so you were right with 17. the bio seminar isnt really any work, but yeah your schedule looks good! its a pretty standard 1st semester freshman schedule

But don’t I have to take the BIOL-113 lab?
I thought that BIOL-103 and BIOL-113 were companion courses, and that BIOL-103 was only lab.
Please help.
