I didn’t apply. I found out about it within the past two weeks, so I missed the application deadline. I’m thinking about transferring. Of course, once I start going to college everything may change. I just want to keep my options open.
I agree with what you guys are saying and have tried to explain this to my parents before. The family member who attended UNCW did so YEARS ago. Key word- YEARS I want to say around 2003-2004. Things have obviously improved since then. I believe they just don’t want me to go to UNCW because of the distance. Period. And since my sibling is at UNCG they can keep better tabs on me. At this point I don’t care, however, I will tell them what you all have posted. Maybe I’ll stay at the school I go to… maybe not. This is an annoying place to be in. I’ll let you guys know how things go. Thanks for the help.
@african_flower don’t let your parents’ complaints about the distance stop you from coming. My parents let me go 9 hours away for school lol
You have to be logical and point out the academic advantages. Compare average GPA and test scores for admitted students, major offerings, etc.
