I have a pretty low gpa (2.4), I blame my stupidity in 9th grade for that.
my SAT score was a 1670
I'm in 4 different clubs at my school
in one of the clubs (architecture club) I'm an officer
I have improved my grades tremendously since my freshman year, which I had mostly C's, and D's. Now I'm a senior and currently taking AP English, AP bio, Pre-CAL, and Gov't honors my grades in each class is an A except Gov't (B)

I wanted to know if any good state university will likely accept me or should i go to community college for my first two years and transfer.

Universities I would like to attend:
Umass Boston
FIU
FAU
Rutgers university

don’t worry i was in the same situation as u were. i had a bad freshman year about the same gpa and i took an AP class senir year. I applied to alot of school and the best schools that accepted me were St. John’s University and the University of Hartford. UMass boston should accept you but what u can do is join alot more clubs this year and raise your GPA as much as possible.

I think you can definitely get into one of the state universities you listed, especially the one that’s in your state. Imo just study for the SATS, if you’re smart enough to be in precalc and AP English, I think you can do much better on the SATS (1800+ at least).
