Can someone like me still get into Dartmouth (or any of the lower ivies) with a bad high school transcript? Do they accept ACT taken during college or just the one taken during highschool? Can I get in with a 4.0 college GPA and 33+ ACT(the ACT taken during college)? The thing is, I can't really afford the tuition except for the school that I am at now. What can I do?

thats my situation and what ima hopin-lol

You have a good chance as a junior transfer. It is out of the question as a sophomore.

I had a 2.3 in high school and was admitted as a sophomore transfer into Georgetown. It is not an Ivy, but it is still quite competitive.

I graduated highschool in 05. That was the last year of the old SAT/ACT. When I retake it, can I just do the regular ACT? I read somewhere that the ivies don't care about SAT2's for transfer students. Is this true?

Emory might take you as a transfer as junior, you must maintain a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in all course work and prolly a cumulative of 3.75+.

What other schools? I was looking at Wharton, and they say you have a better chance of getting in sophmore year then junior.
