2.7 gpa

Hi, I was wondering is it possible to get into this university with a 2.7 GPA? I am a junior from Michigan who takes honors and AP classes and got a 29 on the ACT.
I keep failing my honors math classes, particularily algebra, and always have to take them in the summers and in other school years. I usually get A's i the redos though. That is why my GPA is so bad. I really shouldnt have any F's when I apply.
I am very involved in my school.

Is it even possible for me to come here? Someone suggested I go to Mankato State, which looks very comparible, but I'd rather go school here.

What's your class rank?

My class rank is 147/290. 50th Percentile. 51st maybe.

At the U of MN you apply to a specific college - here are the ranks and ACT scores of last years admitted students by college:

Academic Profile

You won't know if you can get in unless you apply. Plan to get your grades up this semester and then apply as early as possible in the fall. There are rolling admissions so it is easier to get in the earlier you apply. Good luck!

Haha Mankato State is not even close, it really kind of sucks. You might get in but it is a reach, even to CLA. CLA would be your best shot if you really want to go here.

^Wait why CLA? That's like the middle college....

Don't go to Mankato....really.....it's not considered a very good school (sorry to anyone who goes there) I'd say try for College of Education (or whatever it's called) because as far as I remember that's the easiest one to get into. And then if you do well you can transfer to something better...like CLA.
