really good essay
some EC's not alot

any others?? thanks

anybody???

Go to FACTS.org, then Finding a College or Program, then Can I get in?, then Admission standards. That should help guide you. Your guidance counselor should also be able to give you input. Does your school use Naviance? If so, that is another resource. Also, your local and/or school library.

Do you want to stay home? Go away? Do you have Florida prepaid? What do you think you want to study? Do you want a liberal arts school or more of a vocational/trade education? The more info you tell us, the more we can help you.

i want to saty in state. FAU is less than 2 hrs from where i live. yes i have florida prepaid. i want to study business finance

Many of the Florida schools have business programs. FAU’s is very good. The website I mentioned should help you identify your options. After you look at it and narrow down your choices, let us know your thoughts. BTW, what year are you in?

my senior year. im wondering if i should apply for fau summer or fall

You probably have missed a lot of the deadlines; therefore may not have a choice. Perhaps you should accelerate your fact finding to see what options you have first before making a decision. Your time is better spent doing that than spending time on CC. Second semester senior year is not the ideal to start your research.

UCF is probably a reach. I’d say you have a reasonable change at FAU and FGCU. Also maybe add FIU to your list of schools.

FAMU most deff and they have a good business program their. I also agree with what others wrote: FGCU (btw their dorms are nice) and FAU.

Deadlines for fall admission:
FAMU: has rolling admission so your okay with deadlines
FGCU: is May 1st I believe
FAU: is May 1st too but priority is Feb 19th.

But dont wait to the last minute the sooner the better!

Go to a community college, you’ll be better off there. In two years, you’ll be able to go to a really nice Florida college, that’s if you don’t make the same mistake you made in high school.

A 2.8 GPA and 1020 SAT can definitely get into 4-year colleges. The world’s not “3.5 GPA+ or community college.” With that said, CC is a fine option if the OP feels he/she would do better starting in that environment.

That’s why I said he’ll be able to go to a nice Florida college if he goes to CC. Most colleges that accept students of his caliber are not that nice. You don’t want to go to a school just because you got accepted with your stats and it was the only one that accepted you. What happens if that college wasn’t right for you? In this case, it is true that it is up to the OP, but if he wants to go to a nice, high tier college (like UF, UCF, etc), then I suggest to go to CC first.
