2.9 GPA first semester freshman year...med school still possible??

<p>Im freaking out...I got all B's in my courses first semester...i worked really hard for them too. i don't party and i studied constantly. Am i just too dumb for med school??</p>

<p>It is about the whole package and not just one semester, one standardized exam, or one GPA. You need to work with a tutor or an upper classmen who can help you learn the ropes.</p>

<p>one of the things you’ll learn in college is that not all work/effort is created equal. There is such a thing as “the wrong way to study.”</p>

<p>I 2nd everything frugaldoc said. If you are putting forth your best effort and still not seeing the results you want, get a tutor.</p>
