Hey i Think i will end up with a 2.95 GPA by the end of Summer 2010. My question is Will UCSD accept me in the Tag program with a 2.9. I'm currently attending Pasadena city college. Also if i want to Apply this upcoming Fall 2010 with the TAG program Will I be turning my unofficially transcript that will show my Summer 2010 GPA which will probably be a 2.95 or my Fall 2010 GPA. If it is my Fall GPA then i'm Positive it will be above a 3.0

There is a reason for that as well, unless you have extraordinary circumstances pulling you down, if you can’t pull off a 3.0 in a CC, you won’t be able to hang in there with those who came out of HS with a 4.2GPA while working and doing volunteer work and who know that the phrase “unofficially transcript” isn’t all that proper of english.

get your GPA up. They very well might take you if you have a 3.1+(after you finish your upcoming fall semester) but really you need to be evaluating what you’re doing wrong. Research your professors, know what you’re getting into. Be involved, go above and beyond. Get some As. If you’re already working hard, well just know that it doesn’t get any easier.

as part of a contract, no.
it denotes that your GPA from every single class you’ve ever taken must be have an overall UC GPA of at least a 3.0. Your spring grades added onto this must also maintain it above a 3.0 GPA

yo, dat waz condesending mang. ya need ta’ get yo act togetha n’ yo head outta tha clouds yah nublet. N “unofficially transcript” iz propa english motha ****a.

@Pianocat

If your a non bio/engineer major applying for Fall 2011 with a TAG, a 3.1 gpa will probably get you in. But good luck doing well in UCSD dude. Its one of the most competitive colleges in this nation. If you study hard, you’ll do fine.

Actually I applied as a bio major but hopefully I will get Into my 2nd major with TAG. But yeah I understand I’m going to change my act once I get there
