is difficulty in math section ranged from easy to hard? or is it random?

i read in the official act prep book that some test center outside U.S. won’t let you write on the test booklet. is this true? if so, where did you take the test and did you use the scratch papers?

1) i always thought it was random
2) umm i cant answer this one because i'll be taking my first real test in september. but im sure where i live (PA) we can write on the test booklet

oh..thanks so the math section is in order huh? (increasing from easy to hard)

well i read in the official ACT prep book and it said you can't write on the test booklet..(i guess it only applies to outside U.S.) has anyone experienced this?

It has always felt random to me, I remember there being easy questions at both the beginning and end.

Yes, you can write in it (I don't see why they wouldn't let you).

its random. depending on what you are good at. geometry (question 3) may be hard for you, but trig/precal (question 60) may be a breeze. you never know! ;)

everyone in the US can write in their book. outside of the US, you cant for some reason
