2 AP History Courses

I was contemplating between doubling up with AP EURO and AP USH
at the same time? Do you think the workload would be intense?

I'm doing the same thing next year... Anyone?

Obviously the workload would depend on your school. These types of questions are better asked in real life =]

Agreed with llpitch..

My advice - don't do it!

USH is a ton of work and a lot of facts, and Euro is a ton of history with the rulers with same names (charles 1 2 3 4.....192190). You will get confused. Another thing, the test's are back to back so you'll finish one and rush into another, not a good idea in my opinion.

I agree that it depends on the school, but if you both were kids from my school, I wouldn't recommend it at all. For me personally, Euro was my most demanding class as a sophomore and US was my most demanding class as a junior. I can't imagine taking them both at once. But again, all people and schools are different.

For my school Euro is a joke but APUSH is insane..

I don't know. It really just depends on your school.

UP USH is a lot of work at most schools. I'd think carefully about this.

i wouldnt take it mainly cuz of the double testing in one day factor

I'd say separate them. Maybe taking AP World History with Euro will be a better idea, that's what I did this year and it turned out pretty good. (I self-studied though for World History [or tried too haha] and did an independent study for Euro. Lot of overlap between both of them and having that US History AP under my belt made things easier).

i wouldnt suggest you take the two aps at the same time unless...
you either love history or your okay with reading lots of pages everynite
