Hi, guys.

I recently received my UCSD acceptance letter in the mail for this upcoming Fall, and am very excited (despite the fact that I got into Revelle -.-).

What's troubling me is that during the first semester of my senior year, Senioritis got the best of me and I ended up receiving 2 C's in 2 of my community college classes (Nutrition and Chemistry). I also dropped out of English 1A (college English course) with a "W" for withdraw.

Fortunately for me, despite those poor grades, my GPA still remains above a 3.0 (uw). I think it's currently at about a 3.5-3.6.

However, I'm still very concerned about the 2 C's and a W. Obviously, admissions will count them against me once they see my transcript, but is it bad enough that they will rescind me? Do you think I should call and let them know? Also, my grades for this current semester have been great so far. I will most likely make up for the last semester and manage straight A's. Would that make a difference, though?
