2 classes, same time and day, possible?

So, my Internet Technology class starts at 2pm to 2:50, and its lab starts at 3pm to 3:50pm TR. The weird thing is that I am also enrolled in a history class at 3 to 4:15pm TR. I enrolled last first week of january, and just found that out now, while looking at my schedule again. I am really confuse. How was it possible that I enrolled myself in two classes that overlap each other? I did not even know it, and usually if that happens, it causes an error. Is this some glitch? I can't drop any of the two classes now, they are both pre-req for the next courses I have to take.

Can someone please enlighten me how this happened?
Thanks, hope you guys reply.

sounds like a glitch. your choices are either:

1) fix the glitch, talk to your advisor/professor...i'm sure they'll let you drop one, because the alternative is:

2) be in 2 places at the exact same time.

thanks molly for the reply!

dropping will be my last resort, that's why i am trying to find other options.

Maybe the lab part is optional? Is that possible? Oh, I hope so. Although even if it is still optional, it should not have enrolled me. The computer class is only offered at that time, so dropping it would mean taking it the next semester. My other class is also very important, and is only offered two sections at 6pm tuesday which i also have a class and that time.

That's only possible at Hogwarts, ask Hermione.

^ I was gonna say that too

^ LOL I was thinking that XD

But see if any other sections are open or overtally your classes? Talk to your advisor and see what's up?

you'll have to drop one.

More than likely you will have to drop one of the classes and find a similar course taught by another professor at a different time.

Lab is probably not optional. Like the others said, you'll have to drop one.

DAMN, I was gonna come in with the HP reference.

How do you not notice the overlap? I can't seem to understand how something as vitally important as when your class muster time is can go so far over your head that you don't notice 2 are at the exact same time. Congrats on a grade-A 'fail'.

I'm surprised you were able to do this. At my school the computer system would give you back an error message.

If you can't take another section, you will have to drop one.

/was also going to mention HP

Possibly one of the classes had to change time/day AFTER you had registered?

Yeah, I was thinking the same as what Lumine said.

buy a time-turner.

alternate going to each classes,

although you grades will surely suffer

Lab really isn't optional for any class. Ask Hermione for some help or drop the history class.

I don't know what is wrong with me. I swear just last week, it says 3pm-3:50pm lab. Now, I check it again, and it says 3am to 3:50am. Which means, my schedule is now fine. It just solves itself. I email the prof about this, and he did not reply. But I don't think I need the reply anymore.

I think I need to buy a new pair of eyeglasses, my eyes are getting terrible. I don't know how I could have mistaken it for pm. I thought I check it over and over again. And now it is different. I hope I am not losing my mind.

I've never heard of a college class/lab scheduled for 3:00AM. This can't be correct!
Colleges don't schedule classes/lab in the middle of the night.

Its not a lab.

Its your secret society /cult meeting. Duh.
