Can anybody offer any wisdom on this situation?

I'm a Sophomore in the CSE program, but I am also interested in double majoring (possible Masters) in AeroE. I decided I should probably get started on taking AeroE courses this next semester. Here's the catch, the courses I need to take are at the same time.

EECS 281 - Advanced Programming and Data Structures
AEROSP 245 - Performance Aircraft and Spacecraft

I figured I would attend AEROSP for the first hour and a half (2 hour lecture) and then go to the EECS 281 lecture and only miss the first 20 mins of EECS and the last half hour of AEROSP. So first things first, would this be possible? Next, is EECS 281 lecture filmed like 280 is or is AEROSP 245 filmed so I can just watch them at home if I need to? Also, do you have quizzes or Quizdom questions in either of the classes?

I feel like AEROSP 245 is going to be about basic aerodynamics and I am a licensed private pilot so I wouldn't be starting from scratch with that respect. My other class I would be taking is EECS 370.

I took EECS 281 a few semesters ago, and there would have been no problem with missing the first 20 minutes of class. No quizzes or anything like that. The class was not filmed when I took it, though my 280 class was not filmed either, so things may have changed since.

I asked the prof of the AEROSP 245 class and she told me that this is a bad idea and I should take AEROSP 215 first if this works with my schedule. She said there are in-class quizzes in AEROSP 245 and that I will need to be there for the full 2 hours.

I’m still waiting to hear from the EECS 281 prof, but if he says the lectures are filmed and there’s nothing important that I’m going to miss then I should be fine. If he says I need to be in class for certain things or the lectures aren’t filmed, then I’m going to have to take AEROSP 215 this semester and wait on 245.
