I was never called by an Alumni Interviewer, and I didn't receive my eli letter (with the phone number of my ASC Director) until yesterday, so I was never able to contact anyone to try and schedule one. Does this mean I'm out of luck for an interview? I feel like an interview really would have helped me, or at least enhanced my application, so I'm kind of bummed. My question is, will the admissions officers know that I was never contacted for an interview, or will they assume that I was offered one and turned it down? Also, if I happen to be deferred in December, will I have a chance to interview for the Regular Decision round? Thanks.

If you are deferred, you should definitely call your ASC director to schedule an interview, but don't worry if you don't have one before the early round is over- it won't make or break your application at all.

I would definitely try to call your ASC director, even though it's late. I didn't call mine till a week ago Monday, and he got back to me yesterday. We scheduled an interview for Thursday, December 1st. There's the distinct possibility that you weren't going to get an interview, but there's also the possibility that wires just got crossed somewhere (which I think happened with mine). So I would call and see if you can set it up.

If you can't, don't worry too much. It won't hurt you.

i didn't get my call until about five minutes ago, there might still be time
