2 Female Roommates Needed

Hey everyone! I need 2 female roommates to live with me and a friend for next year (fall '11/spring '12).

My parents have a condo on 1st Street, and are letting me and my good friend live there, as long as we find 2 more roommates to share the rent with ($625 a month per person).

It's a really great place:
2 bedroom / 2 bathroom
just renovated full kitchen / living room / dining room
24 hour security / gated entry
pool / jacuzzi
gym
laundry room
2 parking spots
good neighborhood
walking distance to Walt Disney Concert Hall/ museums / frozen yogurt / yoga / etc.
10 minute drive to campus (USC shuttle drops off a block away)

My friend and I are super laid back and easy to get along with. We are neat and clean, so we'd like a roommate who is also. We aren't smokers, we don't come stumbling in at 2 am drunk, and we don't do drugs. We are pretty good roommates, if I do say so myself :D

The place is really awesome, and I've lived there before with 5 people with no problem- its roomy and comfortable. It is literally 5 feet away from the pool/jacuzzi and the gym.
My parents are the ones renting it out, so there won't be any dealing with crazy landlords and they are very reasonable.

If you want to check out the website for the place, just Google "880 Promenade West" and it should be the first link listed.

We REALLY REALLY need roommates, so if you are interested, or have any questions, please let me know and I'll be glad to answer them!!

Thanks so much guys!
Lauren

Just a heads up for people who are interested - this is an INCREDIBLE price to pay per month. I hope you find your roommates!

If I get a decision today I will most certainly be down to check out the place :D

Veggie,
You may have better luck posting this on the USC Facebook Classes of 2014 and 2013. Upperclasswomen may be more interested in living off campus than these new freshmen.

Have a friend post on the campus kiosks. For safety you might want to create a new e-mail for this and not post the address until you know more about the persons interested.

jasonvdm: That’s what I’m sayin! haha thanks for the backup  My parents are actually losing money on this because they pay more than they’re charging. They agreed to it because it’s a really great place to live and know that USC students are getting ripped off at most housing places.

sydneyral: GOOD LUCK! are you a transfer or freshman applicant? And sure, any time :]

georgia girl: Damn it! I could never get the hang of CC’s organization. I’ll do that, thanks  Yeah I thought about posting this on the kiosks and bulletin boards around campus, but for some reason that creeped me out a bit. If I don’t get any viable candidates through here, I might have to do that as well.

Thanks for the responses guys :D

Oh, I would be so down for this but my parents won’t let me live off campus my first year due to my age. :(

I agree that putting up notices is sketchy… CC seems safer, though that might be in my head!

My sister pays ~$500 in La Mirada. That’s with 7 other roommates!! And it’s no where near as nice as this.

ciaobella: Ah don’t worry about it. I’m going to be a junior, and my parents FINALLY decided to let me move out of our house! Just keep bugging 'em about it, and hopefully eventually they’ll cave in. Also try to make yourself seem super independent and responsible, that way they have less of a reason to not want you to move out  And yeah, for some reason CC feels a lot less sketchy. Plus, the only reason I’m posting it here is because I’ve run out of other options- no one I know needs a place to live next year!

jason: 7?!?! I cannot imagine living with so many people, especially college-aged ones O_o

@veggiechips: Well, I am a transfer student and I found out today that I got in. Chances are I will be pming you in a few weeks to talk about this further, as I really don’t want to live on campus at all.

sydney: Congrats dude!! I was a transfer student as well, so I know the exact feeling  What major/year are you? Awesome! Once you do, you can add me on facebook as well if you’d like to make it easier to communicate.

welcome to the Trojan Family :)

Just so everyone knows: freshmen at USC must either live at home or in the on-campus dorms. So if you’re an incoming freshman, this isn’t for you.

And yes that’s super cheap, how do you do it?

hawkwings: Really? I never knew that…where did you get that information from? I don’t see why they would want that or how they would enforce it! And its because my parents couldn’t find anyone to rent it out at full price, and I happened to be looking for somewhere to live nearby. They decided they’d rather lose money and rent it out cheaper to me and 3 roommates, than have me live in an unknown/more crappy area of downtown :)
