<p>What do I do? Do. Professors usually let you reschedule your finals if this occurs? I heard it's really rare, but two classes I really want to take are scheduled in the same time slot.</p>
<p>There’s no guarantee that professors will do that (naturally). In fact, most don’t, because you had a chance of knowing your finals slots in advance so you’re expected to take care of clashes. It’s unfair to the rest of the class should they set such a precedent.</p>
<p>Having said that, I’ve had some friends managing to switch their times. But again, it is very unlikely, and you having to switch classes at a later date after trying unsuccessfully to shift the final inconveniences you much more than if you change the classes now.</p>
<p>Are they graduation requirements and are you a senior? If that’s not the case, I really don’t see why you can’t take them another semester. Any extenuating circumstances other than just the desire to take them?</p>
<p>Just email the professor right now in advance. Be polite and they’ll most likely accommodate you. I have a final conflict with one of my summer courses, but the professor was fine with it. He said he’ll take care of it since I gave him like an email 2 months ago!</p>

<p>How did you even make it possible to have 2 exact same finals time when the Final Exam calendar by our Office of Registrar made it virtually impossible to have overlap?</p>

<p>The only possible way I see is you’re taking MWF 9:30~11 and MWF 4:00~5:00.</p>

<p>Sometimes your class, for no reason whatsoever, isn’t in its usual assigned final exam group. Just this spring, Chem 112B was in the group for elementary foreign languages despite its lecture timing of TuTh 8-9.30. ???!!?!?!?!?!?!! I had to take my French 3 final early, and boy was that unpleasant.</p>
<p>Still, it was done. I have been told that elementary foreign languages are probably the easiest finals to reschedule, since crap like this (other classes intruding into their exam group) apparently happens often enough. I think other classes might be trickier to handle.</p>
