2 "free"/ teacher aiding periods senior year?

so... my senior schedule as of right now is going to be:
1. AP Environmental Science
2. AP Photography
3+4 AP Chem
5. Teacher Aiding Period
6. Teacher Aiding Period
7. Intro to Genetic Analysis
8. AP Literature (im taking it 8th b/c the 8th pd teacher is a lot less mean and scary than the other lit teacher)
..i was wondering if colleges would think im a slacker for having 2 periods without legit classes..
if this is a problem then i might take AP Econ either 5th or 6th and only have 1 aiding period

I’ve heard selective colleges want 5 academic classes every year… I see four since photography does not count… and no math or foreign language? If you know where you are applying you may want to take a look at what they recommend/ require as far as classes. I’d say you should definitely add a “real” class though- again, depending on the selectivity of the schools you’re considering.

hm…well no math or foreign language cuz…i took multivariable calc junior year and i took spanish up to spanish 4 so i kinda wanna be done with those for now
i think i might add econ in then…

Selective schools want hungry scholars – don’t do the two aid periods. You’ll be sunk.
