I've read on UF's honors website that you can only take one honors class your first semester, but some of my friends have been telling me that you can take more. Does anyone know for sure whether or not you can take more then one honors class your first semester (as in did anyone actually take more then one their first semester or has anyone been to preview already and signed up for more then one?)

you end up signing up for courses on your own, so no ones really there to stop you from doing this.

it would be at preview though, so wouldn’t an advisor be there to stop me?

When I was at Preview, they only let me sign up for one at that time. The general rule is, according to my Honors adviser, if you want to take more than one honors course, you have to try to get it during the drop-add period. During the first week of classes, check ISIS a lot for the extra honors class you want, and if you get it, they allow that.

The advisers only allow you to register for one honors class during Preview to ensure that every honors student has the chance to register for an honors class. After that (ex: during drop/add), you should be able to add as many as you want.
