2 Math questions

<p>I was working on a math section in the blue book and found troubles solving these two problems. Can someone show me how to do it, thanks!</p>

<p>1) When the positive interger k is divided by 7, the remainder is 6. What is the remainder when k+2 is divided by 7</p>

<p>2) If 3a+4b = b, which of the following must equal 6a + 6b</p>

<p>say k is 13. Then 13/7 is 2 and 1/7. the answer is 1.</p>

<p>3a + 4b = b
3a + 3b = 0
2(3a+3b)=2(0)
6a+6b = 0</p>
