<p>How do I change a fraction into a percent? for example</p>

<p>how would i turn 1/6 in to a percent </p>

<p>Also for percent like 1.40% 2.50% percent how do i go about using that in the calculator, because when ever I multiply percents like those i get big numbers which are wrong...</p>

1) divide 1 by 6 gives you .16666667,
2) then multiply that number by 100 to get 16.67%. </p>

<p>Question 2
1) change the percent into a decimal by dividing 1.40% by 100 to get .014.
2) for 2.50% percent do the same thing.</p>
