It says on the A&M website that MATH 141 and MATH 142 are required for admission to be considered admissions. However, can the two maths be any higher level math course or does it have to be business maths? I have taken Elementary Statistics as well as College Algebra, but no business maths. Will this be a make or break for me to get into A&M?!
Ask your specific major. Admission is done by major for transfers vs.freshman admits. FWIW 141 &142 is calculus based math, most likely higher math than the two courses you cited.
