<p>ok i have 2 questions that hopefully someone can answer.</p>
<li><p>do a lot of bands/artists come to campus? i live near princeton and we get a ton (Ben Folds was here about 2 weeks ago) and i was just wondering if i should expect the same at georgetown.</p></li>

<p>There are not a lot of bands that come to Georgetown, but DC has a lot. This year, we had Howie Day and the Discobiscuits aome and campus in the fall, and for spring we had Steven Kellogg, correct me if I'm wrong. There are a lot of a capella groups here, and dance too, there is always an a capella concert going on, and dance groups are constantly performing.</p>
<p>I have a friend in DC and he actually hung out with alot of groups when they did shows in the area: Mobb Deep, Cypress Hill, Linkin Park.</p>
<p>He's friends with Alchemist if you know who that is...</p>
<p>Alot of good groups and bands come through the DC area, I think its the best area of the country to be honest with you</p>
<p>I went to a Jimmy Eat World concert last month with a few people. Taking Back Sunday also performed. SO AWESOME. Though it was at American...lol j/k.</p>
