2 science classes per summer session too much? Help please!!

Hey guys, I was wondering whether it would be too much to take for instance, Chemistry 14BL and Physics 6A in the same session or possibly Chemistry CL and Chemistry D in one session...woudl this be overkill or doable? thanks! any advice will be appreciated!

I’d 6A and 14BL is doable.

14CL and 14D is another beast…

Whats the rush?

Don’t medical schools look down on this? as in taking a core class over summer? Or am I mistaken? Because I do want to take physics 6a with chem 14bl too but I thought taking a core science class over summer was looked down upon. Please clarify. Thank you.

no, taking a core class at a community college looks bad (usually taken over summer). summer courses at your own school are fine.

lol, well I just want to get done with all the pre-med requirements as soon as possible so I can start taking my minor classes. Plus, I heard the Chem 14d teacher is really good in the summer…any more input? thanks guys!

i took 30AL and ls2 together – (14 hpw for 30al and 12 hpw for ls2) and managed.

phys 6a and 14bl should be fine

for the chem 14bl, it shows that there are labs for tues/thurs. aren’t there supposed to be labs only once a week? Plus in the course description, it states that the lab is 3 hours, not 6.

summer sessions are shorter, so naturally you have more hours of class per week.

haha I’m also planning to do 2 per session…LS3/Chem14CL and LS4/Chem14D. my ex managed to do pretty well last summer when he took LS3/Chem14D at the same time and he didn’t study very much sooo I’m hoping that I’ll be able to survive as well. at least I’ll be done with my LS/chem14 series :)

you are so cool

how bout doing LS2 and Chem 14BL in the summer?

bumppppp 10 char
