Hello!
For recommendation letters (2), I want to ask my ap bio and ap chem teacher just because i feel like they’ll write the best ones.
My ap bio teacher because he really sees my curiosity and interest and also he’s my school soccer coach. My ap Chem teacher because I’ve had her for 2 years (honors chem too) and she’s seen me grow to be a more vocal and active learner.
but people say 2 science teachers may write the same things, and to be more “well-rounded” people say to choose a humanities.
ive met w my english teacher a few times, and she said she likes me and thinks i’m a good writer and hard worker (which would sound too generic in a letter?). I also always meet with her because I’m scared I’m doing an assignment wrong/I like to have clarification/confirmation I’m on the right path, and she’s told me she hopes I can be more “independent.” Like last week, she said I’m “finding my self-confidence”–what does that mean, is that a good thing/bad thing? It sounds to me like she thinks im too anxious about my performance, which seems bad.
In other humanities teachers’ classes, I’ve gotten high grades and they think im a great student/writer/participant in class, but I don’t really have a “relationship” with them since I’ve never met with them outside of class? Although I’ve had my chinese teacher for 3 years now, and my history teacher once in 9th and right now, not close with them. Honestly I’m not close with any of my humanities teachers.
(Also, straight As for each class this year, and this junior year ive been a solid participant in class).
Thus, who should i choose??
Thank you so much.
