Hi
Now I'm worring about to reach my admission contract to UCLA
So, I would like to do 2 SIR at

UCLA and UCSD.

Can I?

there is already a thread about this…

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/uc-transfers/716692-submitting-2-sirs.html

also, i found this one. its a couple years old so things may have changed but a girl submitted 2 SIR’s.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/uc-transfers/353420-must-withdraw-my-sir-either-berkeley-ucla-help.html

thax

So I cannot make 2 SIR UCLA and UCSD?

I read that sites, but I’m still considering

I’m not sure what would happen. From the last link I posted it seemed like not nothing happened she just got an email telling her she needed to pick one.

What is keeping you from deciding between UCLA and UCSD?

Oh I think the op wants to submit two SIR’s just in case his/her UCLA decision gets rescinded for not maintaining the required course grades.

^
Exactly what I was going to say. You beat me to it. Hahaha.

To the OP: Try to talk to your professors ASAP, hopefully classes aren’t over?? If that doesn’t work, then you gotta tell UCLA…but yeah, I would go with just sending one. Unless you just got two hundred dollars to spare…lol.

I wish you the best of luck!

^
Haha~I think the OP’s stated that in the first sentence so I just wanted to point it out lol.

I remember when I declined UCSB and UCI I got this message:

“If you wish to reverse your decision, you must contact the Office of Admissions”

So if you decline I think you’d still be able to tell UCSD you want to enroll if UCLA falls through.

why did you decline? can you just not respond and make them assume you declined?

Yeah but I figured I would just do it. I wanted to see what it would say when I declined.

^
LOL. But see, you actually declined them. Rather, if you didn’t do anything at all, they’ll think you didn’t even think about their school.

At least that’s what I would assume. Hahaha. If you denied them but then told them it was a mistake, I’m sure they would be more lenient. LOL.

it makes sense hah and there is a place where they ask you why you declined you could make up a reason which could be used in your favor if you decided to go there.
