<p>I have a 4.27 weighted GPA (in top 5% of my class) and have good SAT scores, but only took two subject tests and got 710 on Math2 and 650 on Literature. I think it would be more damaging to send my low Lit score than to just not send it at all.... would only sending one score be okay? Or would it raise eyebrows and make me pale in comparison to the others applying with more test scores? I want to apply ED1, but should I wait for ED2 and retake them both so I have two and they're better? Or are they really not that important?</p>
<p>Help! The reason I want to apply ED1 rather than ED2 is because I don't want my grades to slip this semester and show a downward trend, since I've gotten straight A's thus far. (AP Physics and AP Calc BC are tough)</p>

<p>Huh? You don’t need subject tests for Emory unless you are home schooled (they are only “encouraged” if you think it can demonstrate a strength using it). Just send the math score and call it a day. If anything, retake if you are denied Emory and will be applying to schools that want SAT II’s for sure.</p>
<p>@bernie12 I know I don’t need them, but they’re encouraged, so you don’t think that it would look strange with my peers having 2 scores and me only having 1? Thanks for responding:)</p>
<p>@bernie12 No they would not…especially not if you are an ED1 or 2 candidate. There are other, more substantive ways of displaying (and on their end gauging) talent in specific disciplines than scoring high on another multiple choice test. Emory knows this…</p>
