2 week decision, good or bad?

<p>According to the "Application Status Check" feature on the msu website it said that they received my HS transcript on 9/28. It also says a decision was made on Weds 10/6, you will receive a decision in the mail in 7-10 days etc etc etc. We will not give acceptance decisions over the phone.</p>

<p>So I am pretty nervous because from having received my completed application on 9/28, they already made a decision on the 6th? Did I get denied that quickly? Its not like I am national merit or anything either. 28 ACT, 3.3 gpa, OOS, Hispanic, first gen college student, I think I wrote a good essay. (but that is pretty subjective)</p>

<p>yeah you’re in. the quicker the better. it’s like saying they knew you were a good candidate as soon as they saw your app. they received my transcript on 9/30 and i still havent gotten any decision :confused: so congrats</p>

<p>I wouldn’t worry too much, msufan. The decisions that have been released these past few days have been insanely early. Most will be released within the next two months.</p>

<p>My stats were wayyyyy above MSU’s average.</p>

<p>I had “greater than 50th percentile” stats too so that probably helped my quick admit.</p>

<p>Uhh mine was a 2-day wait. They said on their website that my school transcript was received on 10/12/2010, then the decision was made on 10/14/2010. I now have to wait 7-10 days to know my decision. Hopefully its an acceptance lol :&lt;/p>

<p>It usually takes about three days. I think they say 7-10 so you won’t bug them while you are waiting. I don’t know why they don’t just post the decision.</p>

<p>I know… It’s so much easier just to look it up online… faster and more convenient for them too.</p>
