my main question is flat out with a 3.3 GPA and a 1190 SAT ( M590, V600, W560) will i get flat out rejected?? i applied ED 1

im not so optimisitc about getting in. i guess its my numbers. Everything else is really good and i had a good interview, but i guess the numbers just wont cut it.

i guess my main question is if i even have a chance for defferal OR can they take me in for the spring semester?

Advice would be appreciated.......thanks everyone

Jdm, if GPA and SAT scores were the only things in a college admissions file, I'd say that GW is a slight reach. However, GW considers so much more than just stats - that's one of the things that I love about them! How were your essays, ECs, and recs? What's your class rank, geographical location, and do you have a legacy? ACT Score? Which school at GW did you apply to?

Ultimately, I don't think you'll be flat-out rejected. But, I think that the rest of your application (i.e. everything and more listed above) needs to be superb for you to have a good shot at admission. Best of luck to you - post back with more info so everyone here can give you a better assessment of your chances.
