<p>ARE 2 W'S IN ONE SEMESTER BAD?
I'm trying to transfer to UCLA/USC/ PEPPERDINE, but I got 2 W's this semester.
If I retake them and get straight A's,
Do I still have a chance?
I have a 3.4 GPA right now, I'm in the honors program, I do a lot of ECs.</p>
<p>Can you retake them this summer? I think you’d be “ok” if you retake them and give a short explanation on your applications (taking responsibility and not putting blame on professors, or something outside of yourself). Do not discuss in your essay and put too much emphasis on them though. You still have a solid GPA and retaking (with A’s) will show that serious effort was made to correct the dropped courses. You still have a good chance at these schools imo.</p>
