So I'm finishing up my second year of college, and am still having that inner-struggle over what to major in. I recently settled on Economics because it seemed to be fairly practical... but the classes are so ridiculously dry and boring, and I could not care less about the material. In my history classes from previous semesters, I actually looked forward to going to class. Now, I find myself going to 50% of my classes.

Of course, the 'fun' stuff like history and political science also leaves me drawing blanks when it comes to the dreaded 'what are you going to do with that?' question. I mean, I can't think of what I'd do with a History degree. Work in a museum? What? That just sounds like a crappy job that's related to history so people just throw it in as a job opportunity.

I know people say not to major in something you hate because it will come back to bite you, but I've seen many people major in something they love and then go into a 9-5 crappy retail job out of college. Seems like a lose-lose situation for me.
