Hi Guys,
I'm a Senior and I am planning to apply Early Decision to Cornell.
Cornell requires 3 years of a foreign language, however I have only done two.
How will this affect me? The third year of Spanish that was offered in my school was AP Spanish and I am truly not ready for it (Small school, not many choices).
Thanks

Summer school, online classes, community college are obvious solutions. But otherwise, I do not know much. ED might forgive that but I would not count on it.

Oh my, to any one who has the same question I have a rather sad answer. I personalty called CAS and asked them about it… I told them I took 7 years of amharic, 3 years of german before high school and that I am now taking my 5th year of English x2 AP (It is not my first language)… I told them that I am taking 5 very very hard AP classes, and would like not to take Spanish3… Even though this was my fifth language she told me I had to take the class and that, me thinking it was too had could significantly lower my chances if not disqualify me… She said the only way out of this is a letter from GC to head of admissions… Which, would be talking about how the school dose not have a third year of a language… So I would say Spanish VS Cornell it is your choice.
