20 credit hours: yay or nay?

Ok, so I only took 10 credit hours this quarter and had to drop a 5 credit hour course (Chemistry 102) due to medical reasons. I took 10 credit hours over the summer, but I really would look to add on a fourth class (a GEC) just so I won't feel behind. So far, next quarter, I am taking:

Chinese 310 (Upper level Chinese)- 5 credit hours
Chemistry 102- 5 credit hours
And an Intensive upper-level writing course (haven't decided)- 5 credit hours.

I was thinking of adding a lower-level math course so I won't feel "behind" but I also want to do well in Chem because it is a prerequisite for the competitive Nursing program in my school.

Should I stay at 15 or go ahead and another course?

Thanks

Paul quarter systems have 5 credit hours

It is not too difficult if a person stays on track and rarely procrastinates. I was able to handle 20 units with a 3.83, I took classes such as Freshmen English, Statistics, 2 Psychology courses, Chemistry and Guidance. It was not too much work most off the time but I will admit that some weeks were more challenging than others. However, I must also add that these courses were taken at a local community colege and if you go to a prestigious school such as Ucla etc; then stick to 15 units. Ultimately the decision is in your hands and it is up to you to decide. I have to also add that you should use a planner so you know when assignments, projects, or tests are due.
