I'm Korean. I'm looking foward to diversity but I also want to see some Koreans. Are there a lot of them at Emory?

Is that a joke? There are SO MANY South Koreans here. Search the emory wheel for a few recent articles. The amount of S.K's has like tripled in the past X years.

No. Not a joke. How would I have known? Not just native South Koreans but what about Korean-Americans?

A majority of the South Korean's are either Americans or went to boarding schools/ high school in the USA.

my roommate is korean american!

Is the Pope Catholic?

YES! i'm a student (korean haha) and have never seen so many krn kids @ one school! it's not UCLA, but there's a LOT

Hahah, ya when I first applied to Emory I was totally unaware of the large korean population. Ironically, when I was first looking for schools, I was looking for a sizeable korean population so naturally I went with UCLA, BUT I stopped looking into them after realizing the HUGE number of kids who already go there(that and my anal retentive asian parents wanted me to go to a top 20 school), seriously I don't need people all up in my bubble lol. Oh and supposedly Emory has a pretty good reputation in Korea, which again I didn't even know about, it's probably because I've been completely white washed - oops? On a final note, KUSA(korean undergrad student association) is pretty active from what I've seen they have social events, dances, and ramyun parties - HELL YA!! haha

pretty much my entire dorm was korean students

Could you post your stats Jshim? I'm looking to apply to Emory my junior year.

Lots of Korean American students there.
