2006-2007 Audition Dates

<p>Oklahoma City University is pleased to announce the dates for OCU's 2006-2007 national scholarship admission auditions:</p>

<p>November 17 - 18</p>

<p>February 9 - 10</p>

<p>March 23 - 24</p>

<p>As of 5/27, these dates are not available on our on-line audition form. However, if you would like to book a date at this time, please email Mary Mowry, OCU Student Services Coordinator, at <a href="mailto:mamowry@okcu.edu">mamowry@okcu.edu</a>. Early registration is advised as many were turned away last year.</p>

<p>This is the list of dates which we gave out at our Visit Day last Saturday. I need to stress that they are still tentative; I hope to have confirmations by the middle of June. We won't start taking reservations until the fall, but you should be able to start some planning now.</p>

<p>On-Campus Auditions
December 1: MT and Acting
January 27: MT
February 2: Acting
February 3: MT
February 24: MT
March 3: MT</p>

<p>There is a possibility that we'll add March 10 for Acting. I'll let you know for sure in a couple of weeks.</p>

<p>Unified dates
February 4: New York (other schools will be there on the 3rd as well) - American Management Association
February 5-7: Chicago - Palmer House Hilton
February 10: San Francisco - hotel tba
February 11: Los Angeles - Hilton LAX</p>

<p>(Some schools will also be in Las Vegas on February 8.)</p>

<p>Remember that we'll look at applicants for all degree programs at the Unified sites. That includes MT, MT with a concentration in Dance, Acting, Design/Tech, and BA.</p>

<p>I called CCM, and they told me their audition dates will be the same next year as last minus one day.</p>

<p>Dumb question, I know, but can you register for an audition date at OCU before you apply?</p>

<p>alz748 - Not a dumb question. Some school allow you to set up an audition appointment without a formal application being submitted. You have to check each school, individually, in order to see what they expect. Good luck!</p>

<p>Hi. You may register for an OCU audition date now before you have finished your application. However, the application must be finished by the time of your audition. You must first be admitted to the university at large. Then, you need to have a successful music school audition.</p>

<p>You may obtain an OCU Admission application by calling 1-800-633-7242 extension 5050 or by visiting <a href="http://www.tgimatocu.com%5B/url%5D"&gt;www.tgimatocu.com&lt;/a> where you can fill out an application on-line.</p>
