<p>simbajune55: the common data set talks about for the calendar year 2005-2006. This means, the students who APPLIED fall of 2005 (see section c), that includes the class of 2010</p>

<p>simbajune55 - you are right, the admission site still has the class of 2009 stats, but it will be updated soon. Until then, the common data set has all the information for the class of 2010 (bver100 - thanks for your response :)</p>

<p>i thought i read there were ~18,500 applicants for the freshman class of '10 and that there were ~1,100 transfer applicants this year.</p>

<p>and by "thought i read" i mean DID read - in northwestern publications.</p>

<p>why are these numbers different from the ones posted in the common data set?</p>

<p>that is b/c the common data set reflects the numbers for 2005-2006 </p>

<p>the class of 2010 are the numbers for 2006-2007 (this year....)</p>

<p>if you look on collegeboard.com, the numbers in the 2005-2006 data set are exactly the same...this is b/c its 2009 data</p>

<p>the 2010 data is not yet posted...and it is different from the 2005-2006 data set</p>

was recently posted. The CDS for 2006-2007 (Class of 2010) has not yet been posted.</p>

<p>elsijfdl: The numbers in the article are for the class of 2010; therefore, they will not match the numbers in the common data set.</p>
