Received my PIN in the mail today. You will receive an email as to when the decision itself is available.

so we will be able to check our decisions online?

hmm i got my pin like a month ago...

yep, here is the decisions site: http://www.admissionsug.upenn.edu/decisions/

Do you know if the "Login" is your PIN number and password the regular password you use when you did your applications? I tried various codes but none seem to work.

The letter I recieved in January does not contain a "PIN". Instead, it contains my UserID and PassCode.

i got the user id and passcode also. i think they're talking about the same thing though.

mishra: as a backup, would you take stern/mccombs over ross ?

i would choose ross over stern and mccombs.

i would choose stern over wharton if I could afford it. Cuz i'm specifically interested in i-banking.

ggalage, i think you're the only person that would ever do that! haha. wharton is the best and most prestigious business school in the world and it's a factory for i-bankers.

haha ggalage. many of pple here (@ stern) can't afford nyu, so you wouldn't be alone. my financial aid officer actually recommended that I transfer to Penn if I could b/c of my fin. situation.... yea, great way to keep your students huh? ne ways, I was recommended by my CDA and CDE to write a letter to our President, so maybe that'll help. Part of the reason I want to transfer is cuz Penn is known to be quite generous with their aid. first i have to get in to see though :-/ ... ... ... as for the ibanking part, it seems everyone here is just for that (yet prob. 70% actually knows what 'ibanking' means, it's actually kind of funny). I will admit though, b/c of internships (which there are TONS), ibanking isn't as hard to get into than if you can from somewhere else. least that's what a lot of my senior friends tell me (they've got great jobs awaiting them... sigh).

I would also choose Ross over Stern and McCombs. Ross decisions come out on July 31st, which means that I will need to send in the enrollment deposit to Stern.

I know that internal transfer to Ross is very competitive. I was wondering how competitive is Stern (so that I can get an indication of my chances at Ross).

Omg~ Why Are They Sooooooooooooo Slow???
May 11th??? Instead Of 1st Week Of May??

SunScorch, did you get any information from the NYU President (are you refering to Sexton)? I'm at NYU, and transferring... did Sexton say/do anything that was helpful for you?

oops. I meant to say 70% of undergrads at Stern DON'T know what ibanking means.

Augie93, I have not written the letter yet. sorry. Hopefully I can show him in my letter that I'm enough of an asset to NYU to award aid to.

good luck with that; I was just curious because Sexton wrote me a transfer recommendation... I really vascillate between whether I think it'll be really helpful or not so much. I guess we'll find out within a week.

good luck! which school are you applying at Augie? Also, if you don't mind, what school at NYU are you currently in and r u a freshman?

Penn, Harvard, Columbia and Yale (all the schools I got deferred/waitlisted/rejected from last time).

I'm a freshman in CAS.

i had the president of my cc write me 2 rec's to stanford and yale, we'll see where that places me....

could someone lemme know what they think my chances for upenn are
