Accepted SEAS...but Columbia '09!

rejected from CAS. peace out people.

meyer, what other school are you deciding on?

umm, so my rejection letter--posted online--was dated May 11th.

i'm at chicago and on the columbia w/l.

rejected- what a joke penn is. They should have had the decency to do this a couple weeks ago. The way they handled their admissions and the guy who answered the phone were really unprofessional. I will most likely be attending Georgetown. Also, Layla- since Penn has no waitlist, I hope your acceptance reaffirmed your self worth; I have quite a bit of time at Columbia and am confident you will fit in nicely.

georgetown is awesome. congratsss!

rejected. uggg.

I got rejected too---f this place to be honest w. u

but congrats to everyone--and most of all--MYERSSSSSSS

CONGRATULATIONS MEYER!

So wait... will that girl only date a Columbia boy;)?

What happened to matm?

rejected also. Timberland I guess i won't be seeing you at Colby next year.

nope, no more colby. what are your plans for next year?
bball- that is pretty surprising- I don't know what else, academically, they could have been looking for?

Rejected too. MEH, i DO NOT care lol

ggalage, are you going to be at nyu?

if anyone here is from nyu and wants to chill out come september lemme know..or just facebook me. name's chirag shah

where is everyone applying to live on campus?

Can anyone give me some tips as to which on campus housing I should pick??

i applied for everything on the quad - though i was told on the tour that getting in there is competitive; everyone that i've talked to says the high-rises are not great socially for transfers because there are alread pre-established cliques. gregory is another popular choice as is stouffer - good places to meet, hang out, etc.

the main rule of thumb that i've been told again and again is to avoid hill house like the plague - nasty, cramped, old. (though, since its 90% freshman, the odds of an upperclassman getting in there are quite slim)

thats just what i've heard and gathered over the past few weeks from asking around, visiting campus, etc. (so don't quote me!)

btw, has anyone who's been accepted gotten their pennkey yet?

sansom east and west is soooooo nice! also, it's right next to the inn at penn (the upscale hotel).
