Thanks! UM is my favorite out of all schools that I have visited, but I am still waiting on a couple schools to respond with their decisions & fin-aid info.

HEY! I got my acceptance today too! Im not about to go through that whole survey thing though lol. My sats were 1330(2000). WGPA:4.06 I did get scholarship info, Bill5. I got the 50% one.

hmm I was in the top 10% of my class. I put hispanic on the app. I had no hooks honestly. I just filled up the EC space on the app (no insane resume or anything like that), no legacies. There much more about test scores and crap but I dont feel like writing them now.

whoa congrats iceman!! especially on that 75%!

it sounds like everyone is getting scholarships... interesting!! is getting scholarship monies rather competitive? i have 34 ACT (30R, 32E, 36S, 36M), top 10%, 3.97 UW, and awes rec's.

i'm considering the BA/MD "honors program in medicine," which is miami's 7/8-year med school thing. is anyone else considering this? how is miami's med school?

My D got accepted EA, but suddenly we received a letter saying she has been awarded a 1/3 merit scholarship!! So anyone out there who didn't get money up front, there's still hope.

the HPME, which I think was the one you were talking about that your friend got into is actually a very good program. It's highly regarded even up here (in Vermont) so I'm sure it's even more prestigious in Florida.

brassmonkey52088 yeah, I live in MA and I know everyone holds that program in high regards, I recieved the Ashe scholarship(3/4), does anyone know if that is the highest scholarship given?
