I don't know if all of these are updated from last year, but I considering most of the numbers seem different, I would guess they are. If you want to look at certain universities or liberal arts colleges, just go to college board.

Sach, thanks for the update, some of the rates look a little funny to me as they are exactly the same as 2006. I don't have the numbers, but Stanford was closer to 1.5% in 2007, it stood out because it was so low. Am also wondering about Brown, it was 3% in 2006, but I thought is was higher in 2007.

hmmm... chicago is way down this year :(

Yeah entomom I would have to agree with you. I just looked at the numbers and got the percentages. There was nothing about what year those were from, but I know for sure that some of them have definitely changed.

Wesleyan's numbers haven't changed at all, while Washington University in St. Louis' have. So I'd have to say some schools have been updated while others haven't.

I'm confused. Are these acceptance rates for people transferring to the college or the rates of people leaving?

transferring in

can anyone post the direct college board link? having trouble finding this on the site

You have to go to each college and look up the numbers.

Oh, Cornell... PLEASE let me be part of your 29.3%!!

This process is so bloody nerve-wracking!

rift, it's under admissions at college board for each school.

The most accurate #'s are found on the individual college websites, either by searching the Common Data Sets or the admissons websites. Stanford's 2007 student profile lists 20 transfer students accepted out of 1400 applicants=1.6%.
Undergraduate Admission | Class Profile - Fall 2006

And trust me, if you click on the link, it will take you to the stats for incoming students for Fall 2007. Scroll down to find the transfer info.

Edit: Never mind.

the tufts' 9% is disheartening.

surprised to see John Hopkins has a pretty high acceptance rate of 15%
Does Princeton not offer transfer admission or was it just for the year of 2006.

Princeton doesn't take transfers. Harvard won't take transfers for next year, but they might for 2010.
