<p>i'm not saying that only asians play string instruments - i'm just saying in my orchestras, the majority of the people are asian. some of my friends, who aren't asian, are great violinists. though, the funny thing is i've noticed most of my friends who aren't asian play in the band.</p>
<p>another stereotype (at my school anyways): the flute players are all asian - i mean, really, they are. line 'em all up, and you'll only find about 3-5 people who aren't. <em>sigh</em> i'm feeling overwhelmed by my own kind...</p>

<p>26e, honestly, i don't know lol. i'm not in band - i'm in string orchestra. i just know that the band has waayy too many flutes, and also too many clarinets. i think those two are the most popular instruments cuz they're the smalles to carry around! believe me, carrying around a viola all day is not fun!</p>
